Stainless steel spire, bucket and tap to collect your sap
Confirmation type of Maple tree. The sugar maple is the one that sugarers use because it produces the most abundance and is the best tasting. We have rock maples that we tap, so it can be done. We don’t get as much from them but it’s still buckets worth. It is fun just to collect the sap and drink it pure!
A live demo so you can be part of the process. I use a drill bit specially designed to bore hole for sap collection. I will explain how to choose the spot on your tree and which direction it should ideally face.
