Healthy Bon Bons!
This raw confectionary preparation is free of processed sugar and is made with the highest quality organic ingredients available. Healthy Bon Bons are distinctly luxurious and truffle-like, while packing in big doses of antioxidants such as withanolides, which support resilience to stress, and curcumin, which is known to neutralize free radicals. Not only that but they are high in polyphenols and flavonoids, which are known to enhance mood and boost cognitive function. I consume these on a regular basis as part of my daily stack.
The reason I offer this lesson is because these really have been a total game changer in my own quest to perfect my own health. In this lesson I will teach you how to make this confection using nut butter and raw honey as a base. Everything used in my recipe are fine for daily consumption because they are the same herbs you would use in basic everyday cooking. However, if you have health conditions, you might want to check with your doctor, out of an abundance of caution.
In this one-hour lesson we will prepare a batch using the main kitchen at Lunaria Estate. A free tour of the Still Room, Apothecary and outdoor grounds is included. Plus, I’ll share my recipe and you will go home with a 6 pack to take at home.
Please note: Report any food allergies ahead of time so that the recipe can be modified. Ashwagandha is generally recognized to be safe for use up to 1 month. It has not been studied past that so if you plan to consume these on a long term basis, I recommend swapping out Ashwagandha every other batch with another beneficial herb or spice such as Eleuthero .
