It is ideal for homeowners who want to develop a clear plan to manage their trees themselves or who would like professional guidance they can share with a lawn or tree service. Consultations are also very valuable for those in the early planning stages of planting new trees, ensuring they are planted, trained, and pruned correctly from the very beginning.
What’s Included:
One-hour on-site evaluation
During the visit, we will walk your property and evaluate up to ten fruit trees, ornamentals, or shrubs. We will discuss their health, structure, pruning needs, and any pest or disease concerns, along with strategies for improving long-term vigor and productivity.
Pruning of two young trees
If you have newly planted trees that are ready for their first structural pruning, I will prune up to two trees that are accessible with a two-step ladder and were planted within the past year. This ensures they get off to the right start. After the consultation, additional pruning can be scheduled at a rate of $150 per hour.
Written master care plan
Within 48 hours, you will receive a written care plan for the trees we evaluated. This plan summarizes everything discussed during the consultation and outlines recommended pruning schedules, pest management strategies, and seasonal care. Having a clear plan allows you to confidently manage your small home orchard and landscape yourself, or to hire help while knowing exactly what should be done.
